Star Wars Imperial Assault: Lando Calrissian Ally Pack
Star Wars Imperial Assault: Lando Calrissian Ally Pack

The Bespin Gambit invites you and your fellow players to take part in a shadow war between Imperial agents and undercover Rebel operatives among the luxurious hotels and seedy underside of Cloud City. Outside of The Bespin Gambit, you can also take advantage of the four new figure packs whether you’re playing a new mini-campaign or preparing for a skirmish tournament at your local retailer.

Powerful new figures join the Rebel Alliance, the Galactic Empire, and the Mercenaries of the galaxy with these Ally Packs and Villain Packs! Each expansion offers detailed, sculpted plastic figures to replace the tokens included in The Bespin Gambit, and they also expand your games with new Agenda cards, Deployment cards, Command cards, and missions for campaigns and skirmishes.

As the Baron Administrator of Cloud City, Lando Calrissian has access to considerable resources and influence. Despite his recent rise to respectability, Lando is still a smuggler, a gambler, and an outlaw at heart, and he now chooses to exercise his influence in the aid of the Rebel Alliance by helping their operatives elude the Imperial Security Bureau agents.

Your Imperial Assault campaigns can certainly benefit from having a charismatic scoundrel like Lando Calrissian by your side. A new campaign side mission introduced in this figure pack invites you to investigate missing shipments of supplies and help Lando root out corruption, but no matter where you employ the help of Lando Calrissian, his resourceful nature and cheerful disregard for the rules are certainly useful assets to your heroes.

Skirmish games can also reap the benefits of Lando Calrissian’s support. An entirely new skirmish map invites you to travel to a Lothal Safehouse, where you’ll struggle to recover artifacts or hidden shipments of weapons before your opponent. You may also take advantage of new Command cards like Tough Luck . Any figure can play this Command card after your opponent rerolls a die in order to remove that die instead! Between Tough Luck and the other cards in this Ally Pack, Lando Calrissian’s unconventional tactics can quickly turn a battle in your favor.

• A new Ally Pack for Imperial Assault
• Aid the Rebellion and lead Cloud City with a sculpted plastic figure of Lando Calrissian
• A new campaign side mission invites you to investigate missing shipments of Rebellion supplies
• Two new skirmish missions that share a map let you travel to a safehouse on Lothal
• New Deployment cards and Command cards bring changing tactics to every game

Star Wars Imperial Assault: Luke Skywalker, Jedi Knight Ally Pack
Star Wars Imperial Assault: Luke Skywalker, Jedi Knight Ally Pack

For centuries, the Jedi Order endured as a symbol of truth and justice in the galaxy, with hundreds of Jedi Knights working to protect the innocent and safeguard the galaxy. The Galactic Empire gutted the Jedi Order, however, and by the events of Return of the Jedi, Luke Skywalker may be all that remains of that once legendary order. With the Luke Skywalker, Jedi Knight Ally Pack, you can bring a new version of Luke Skywalker into your Imperial Assault campaigns and skirmishes.

A Jedi Knight with the skills of Luke Skywalker would be an undeniable boon to any Rebel strike team in a campaign. You might end up using Luke’s knowledge of his homeworld to infiltrate an Imperial base on Tatooine, or you may bring him into one of your other missions as an ally, whether you’re playing the new full-length campaign in Jabba’s Realm or any of your other adventures across the Star Wars galaxy.

It’s instantly apparent that Luke Skywalker is a formidable warrior as part of your skirmish strike team as well, with or without the new Dune Sea skirmish map. Luke’s lightsaber can pierce through most armor without difficulty, and his skills have progressed, allowing him to deflect blaster bolts back at your enemies. You may even use Parry to further increase your defensive power, perhaps preventing the last few points of damage that make the difference between victory and defeat.

• A new Ally Pack for Imperial Assault
• Introduces Luke Skywalker as a Jedi Knight to your campaigns and skirmishes
• Infiltrate an Imperial base on Tatooine in a brand-new campaign side mission
• New skirmish missions offer a variety of new battlefields to base your games

Star Wars Imperial Assault: Maul Villain Pack
Star Wars Imperial Assault: Maul Villain Pack

Seeker of Vengeance

Formerly a Sith Lord, Maul failed his master and was replaced. And since the Rule of Two made it clear there was only ever room for two Sith—a master and an apprentice—Maul became something else—not a Sith, and certainly not a Jedi. He became a rogue Force user, a formidable warrior, and a mastermind schemer, driven by his hatred, his thirst for revenge, and his desire to reclaim the power he had lost.

With the Maul Villain Pack, you can bring this deadly villain to your games of Imperial Assault, either as a powerful piece in the Imperial player's greater campaign designs or as an independent member of the Mercenary faction, ready to join any skirmish army that might allow him to further his own interests.

In either case, you'll find Maul eager to claim vengeance. To that end, he may be willing to stick to the Coruscant shadows and skyrises for a short time, stalking his prey, but it won't be long before his rage and fury get the better of him. Then, when Maul leaps into the fray with his iconic dual-bladed lightsaber, you'll find him more than capable of cutting cleanly through the defenses of any who stand against him. And while much about this former Sith is shrouded in mystery, we know that he's Sustained by Rage and almost always Looking for a Fight.

• A Mercenary faction figure pack for Imperial Assault
• Includes a detailed plastic Maul figure for use in your campaign or skirmish games
• Maul poses a deadly threat with his double-bladed lightsaber and Force powers
• A new side-mission highlights Maul’s lethal talents and thirst for vengeance
• Comes with a deployment card, a complete agenda set, and five command cards

Star Wars Imperial Assault: Obi-Wan Kenobi Ally Pack
Star Wars Imperial Assault: Obi-Wan Kenobi Ally Pack

One of the only Jedi Knights to survive the destruction of the Jedi Order at the end of the Clone Wars, Obi-Wan Kenobi has been in hiding on Tatooine for nearly eighteen years. In that time, he guarded Luke Skywalker, keeping him safe from the servants of the Empire, but Luke has now left Tatooine to play a greater part in the galactic drama. Now, with the Obi-Wan Kenobi Ally Pack, you can bring Obi-Wan out of the shadows to aid the Rebel Alliance.

Obi-Wan Kenobi is a powerful Jedi Knight, and his mastery of the Force can be quite the boon for your Imperial Assault campaigns. Not only can Obi-Wan use the Force to trick your enemies into looking the other way, his figure pack brings a new Item card to include in your games: the Ancient Lightsaber . This weapon from a more civilized age may turn the tide of a battle in your favor, but you’ll need more than brute force to distract an Imperial patrol from finding Obi-Wan Kenobi in a new campaign side mission.

Your skirmish games can also benefit from the knowledge and defense offered by Obi-Wan Kenobi. Two new skirmish missions set in an Anchorhead Bar test the mettle of any strike team, and with three new Command cards to boost the powers of your Force Users during a skirmish, it’s plain to see that Obi-Wan Kenobi has a power that any dark side player would fear to oppose.

• A new campaign side mission challenges the Rebels to distract an Imperial patrol from locating Obi-Wan Kenobi
• Two new skirmish missions set in an Anchorhead Bar and three new Command cards invite your Force Users to dominate the skirmish game
• Features a beautifully sculpted plastic figure of Obi-Wan Kenobi

Star Wars Imperial Assault: Return to Hoth Expansion
Star Wars Imperial Assault: Return to Hoth Expansion

A new expansion for Imperial Assault!

The secret Rebel base on Hoth has been discovered by the Empire. Imperial Star Destroyers blockade the planet from above and Imperial forces descend the surface, led by Darth Vader, and bringing the battle to the entrenched Rebels. As the Rebel heroes flee from the icy planet of Hoth, they have no idea that events ahead may force them to make a desperate gamble and return to the dangers of Hoth!

Return to Hoth is a new expansion for Imperial Assault, offering new content for both campaigns and skirmishes. A brand-new full-length campaign invites you to escape the aftermath of the Battle of Hoth and protect a colony of Rebel refugees from the depredations of the Empire. Meanwhile, four new skirmish missions bring your forces to the icy expanses of Hoth and new rules for four-player skirmish games invite you to experience massive, multi-fronted skirmishes with up to three opponents!

Whether you’re playing a narrative campaign or a fast-paced skirmish, the addition of thirty-seven double-sided terrain tiles invites your heroes to travel the snowy wastes of Hoth and race through the claustrophobic corridors of Echo Base. Sixteen sculpted plastic figures also arrive for you to command in campaigns and skirmishes – three new heroes, six Snowtroopers, two Wampas, four HK Assassin Droids, and a SC2-M Repulsor Tank! With new Agenda cards, Class cards, Deployment cards, Item cards, Mission cards, and Supply cards, Return to Hoth expands every game of Imperial Assault.

In addition, four new Ally Packs and Villain Packs correspond with the Return to Hoth expansion, highlighting the most iconic characters introduced in this expansion and offering new cards and missions for campaigns and skirmishes. You can command Imperial forces across the sector with General Sorin, seek a diplomatic solution with Leia Organa, fight bravely with the Echo Base Troopers, or punish your foes as the deadly bounty hunter, Dengar.

Three new heroes join the forces of the Rebel Alliance at Echo Base in the Return to Hoth expansion. You might heal your friends and protect them from the cold as the loyal medical droid, MHD-19. MHD-19 has been trained in thousands of medical procedures and will go to any lengths to protect his companions – even taking up arms against Imperial soldiers! Alternatively, you could join the Mon Cala special forces and take down your foes from afar as Loku Kanoloa, a deadly marksman. Loku Kanoloa relies on clever battlefield reconnaissance to bring down his targets, placing recon tokens and gaining a host of benefits for attacking enemies with recon tokens. Finally, you may engage in vital operations for the Rebellion as Verena Talos. This deadly operative is eager to take revenge for the destruction of Echo Base, and she’s a fearsome opponent in a campaign or a skirmish. Each of these heroes also features unique talents and abilities in their Class decks, which make playing each hero a dramatically different experience.

New Item cards and Supply cards allow you to further customize your heroes as you move through the campaign, whether you’re on Hoth or not. You might purchase a DDC Defender , a pistol that can perform up to three attacks every turn, or you might customize your weapon with a Under-Barrel HH-4 modification. This expanded barrel not only improves your accuracy, it helps you spread your fire across a group of figures.

Return to Hoth also introduces nine new Command cards, granting you new tactics to employ in the skirmish game. Set a Trap allows you to choose any map tile at the start of a round. If you and your opponent both have a figure on that tile at the end of the round, you can perform a free attack with your figure! If you field Loku Kanoloa in your army, you may use Coordinated Attack to have two figures attack the same target simultaneously, potentially destroying a single large target before it can strike! Whether you field these new Rebel heroes in the skirmish game or in your campaign, they have the power to turn the tables against the forces of the Empire.

The Might of the Empire
The Rebellion gains access to several new heroes, but new figures are also eager to join the Imperial and Mercenaries factions. Snowtroopers are similar to Stormtroopers, but benefit from improved surge abilities and insulated Environmental Recovery Gear that can protect them from the freezing cold of Hoth. As the Snowtroopers swarm forward on foot, you can support their attacks with the raw firepower of an SC2-M Repulsor Tank. Meanwhile, the Mercenaries of the galaxy gain some deadly new warriors and monsters. HK Assassin Droids use their advanced technology to gain the upper hand on biological targets and no creature knows the icy wastelands of Hoth as well as the Wampas . When faced with such dangerous enemies, even the greatest Rebel heroes will have a fight cut out for them.

The Empire receives more than just more figures, of course. Two new Agenda sets – Natural Warfare and Defensive Tactics – open the door for you to pursue the heroes with punishing effects throughout the campaign. You may equip your warriors with personal shield generators, or loose a deadly Creature against the Rebels. In addition to these Agenda cards, two new Imperial classes allow you to modify your forces and tailor them to suit whatever gameplay style you prefer. The Precision Training class improves your figures’ attacks with cards like Find the Weakness , while the Armored Onslaught class allows you to use the Empire’s Vehicles to destroy the Rebels with Explosive Munitions . With these new Class cards and Agenda cards, the Empire gains a host of punishing effects to level against the Rebellion.

Bane or Boon
Return to Hoth also introduces a new type of mission as the beleaguered Rebels flee from the Battle of Hoth. This new type of mission is a threat mission, and it gives the Imperial player a new way to demonstrate the power of his nearly limitless resources. Like normal side missions, two threat missions enter play at the beginning of a campaign, and the heroes may choose to undertake the mission anytime that they would choose a side mission. The heroes may choose to ignore threat missions – but as long as a threat mission remains in play, the Imperial player has a Bane Reward card at his disposal.

For example, while the Survival of the Fittest threat mission is in play, the Imperial player gains the Weary from Toil Bane Reward card, which forces each hero to suffer strain equal to his activation tokens at the beginning of each mission! However, if the Rebels can fight back against despair and complete a threat mission, the rewards can be significant. If the Rebels successfully complete Survival of the Fittest, the Weary from Toil Bane is converted into the Invigorated by Success Boon, which the Rebel heroes can use once to recover from strain. With the addition of threat missions to the Return to Hoth campaign, the Empire’s power grows more oppressive and the Rebels receive an additional incentive to bring them down.

The Icy Planet
The Rebels may escape from the Empire at the Battle of Hoth, but Imperial forces will never stop searching for them. To stop Imperial operations and safeguard a colony of helpless refugees, the heroes of the Rebellion even dare to return to Hoth! With new heroes and dangerous villains, alongside dozens of new cards for the campaign and skirmish games, Return to Hoth changes your games of Imperial Assault forever!

• Return to Hoth is the second large expansion for Imperial Assault
• Introduces a new full-length campaign set in the aftermath of the Battle of Hoth
• Rules for four-player skirmishes and four new skirmish missions greatly expand your skirmish possibilities
• Expand your strike teams across the galaxy with sixteen sculpted plastic figures: three heroes, six Snowtroopers, four HK Assassin Droids, two Wampas, and one SC2-M Repulsor Tank
• Thirty-seven double-sided terrain tiles bring the unforgiving terrain of Hoth to life

Star Wars Imperial Assault: Sabine Wren and Zeb Orrelios Ally Pack
Star Wars Imperial Assault: Sabine Wren and Zeb Orrelios Ally Pack

A History of Combat
While some of the Spectres rely on their connection to the Force to aid the Rebels, others rely on their skills and technology. The Sabine Wren and Zeb Orrelios Ally Pack gives you access to two characters with a long history of combat.

A former member of the Lasan Honor Guard, Zeb Orrelios is the muscle of the Spectres, taking down foes with his mighty bo-rifle. One of the few survivors of the destruction of his homeworld by the Empire, Zeb gives all he has in the fight against tyranny.

Zeb’s bo-rifle is a powerful tool that can allow him to take down enemies very quickly. Once per turn, he may use it as a melee weapon, making a free melee attack with two red dice. This makes Zeb an extremely efficient brawler, able to perform both melee and ranged attacks with ease.

Sabine Wren, a former bounty hunter, is one of the biggest assets that the burgeoning Rebel Alliance has. She's not only a source of hope in the darkness of the galaxy, but also an extremely effective soldier trained in the Mandalorian ways. As an action, Sabine can take evasive maneuvers, moving up to four spaces and recovering two damage, making her a target that's difficult to hit. With three dice rolled for a ranged attack, Sabine can quickly make her away across the map, damaging any target she chooses with either a ranged attack or a final Parting Gift.

While convincing these warriors to assist you will take some effort, your mutual connections in the Rebel Alliance may soon see you fighting side-by-side in the name of freedom.

Star Wars Imperial Assault: Twin Shadows Expansion
Star Wars Imperial Assault: Twin Shadows Expansion

A new expansion for Imperial Assault!

The Galactic Civil War touches every planet eventually, even those on the galaxy’s Outer Rim. Now, the war has come to the desert planet of Tatooine. Long dominated by the galaxy’s Scum and Villainy, a growing Imperial presence on Tatooine has prompted the Rebellion to send Han Solo with R2-D2 and C-3PO to investigate. But communications with Han Solo have been cut off, and your elite team of Rebel operatives is dispatched to uncover the truth.

Twin Shadows is a new expansion for Imperial Assault, offering plenty of new content for both the campaign and skirmish games. Danger lurks around every corner in this expansion: Twin Shadows boasts six new missions that can be played as side missions for a larger campaign. These missions can also be strung together as a fully formed mini-campaign chronicling your efforts to rescue Han Solo and survive the danger that waits on Tatooine. In addition, this expansion offers two new skirmish missions, offering new opportunities for you to battle a friend in thrilling tactical battles.

As the shadows grow on Tatooine, two new heroes from the Rebel Alliance prepare for battle against new threats like Heavy Stormtroopers and Tusken Raiders. With new Command cards, Agenda cards, Condition cards, Class cards, and Supply cards, your games of Imperial Assault change forever with Twin Shadows. In addition, twelve new double-sided map tiles draw you deeper into the Star Wars universe. You may find yourself on the bridge of an Imperial Star Destroyer or engaged in a firefight in a Mos Eisley cantina.

What’s more, three new Ally Packs and Villain Packs offer detailed plastic figures to replace tokens included in Twin Shadows. With these expansions, you can provide figures for the iconic heroes and villains introduced in this expansion: the loyal Droids R2-D2 and C-3PO, the infamous bounty hunter Boba Fett, or the Stormtrooper commander, Kayn Somos. These figure packs contain even more new missions and cards for your Imperial Assault games, and you can learn more about these expansion in their announcement article. We’ll also explore R2-D2, C-3PO, Boba Fett, and Kayn Somos later in a series of in-depth previews!

New Recruits for the Rebel Alliance
An elite team of Rebel operatives is dispatched to Tatooine in order to uncover the reasons behind Han Solo’s lack of communication. Two new heroes of the Rebel Alliance join this elite team, offering their unique skills and services. The first new hero is Biv Bodhrik, a hard-bitten fighter and a capable guerrilla warrior. In your Imperial Assault missions, Biv’s competence with any weapon makes him deadly to enemy warriors, whether he attacks from long range or engages in close combat. You may find yourself desperately trying to escape to the Millennium Falcon, and with Biv as a soldier in your strike team, his powerful attacks and deadly precision can mow down any hostile figure that stands in your way.

Biv is joined in Twin Shadows by Saska Teft, a brilliant engineer whose battlefield inventions can easily save the lives of those she works alongside. During a campaign, Saska can construct unique devices to help herself or her fellow heroes. You may use these devices to increase the power of your attacks, to give your attribute tests a better chance of success, or to accomplish any number of other tasks. What’s more, Saska Teft was born on Tatooine, and her knowledge of her homeward may give you an edge as you struggle to defeat the Imperial occupation. However you use Saska and her inventions, she’s happy to continue modifying gear and crafting new devices to aid the Rebellion.

Of course, it’s not just new heroes that arrive to aid the Rebellion in this expansion. Tatooine has plenty of unique items to offer your heroes, and by taking advantage of them, you may be able to gain an edge over the Imperial player and survive longer in the planet’s seedy underworld. Many of these new items, such as the Gaffi Stick , take advantage of the new Weakened condition introduced in Twin Shadows. While a character is Weakened, he subtracts a surge and an evade from his attack and defense results until the end of his turn. By inflicting the Weakened condition on your opponent’s figures, you can keep them from achieving their full potential, and eliminate them much more easily.

Shadowy Foes
The Empire will not allow the Rebel Alliance to continue their investigations on Tatooine unchecked. With two new figure groups and an entirely new set of Imperial Class cards, you can make the Rebel’s inquests very difficult. In Twin Shadows, the Empire gains access to Heavy Stormtroopers for the first time. Better armored and equipped than normal Stormtroopers, the Heavy Stormtroopers’ increased weaponry can deal significant damage to a group of heroes. With the Heavy Stormtroopers as part of your forces, you can punish any hero that dares to oppose the might of the Empire or set a formidable guard on vital Imperial sites.

The Galactic Empire is not the only faction that gains a new figure group in Twin Shadows. Many of the galaxy’s Scum and Villainy make their home on Tatooine, and they are joined by one of the planet’s most fearsome species: the Tusken Raiders. Although the Tusken Raiders are loath to leave their desert homes, within this environment they know every trick for gaining the upper hand on their opponents. During a mission, Tusken Raiders usually begin their raid with a volley from their Tusken Cycler rifles before closing to melee combat. When you convince the Tusken Raiders to battle alongside your forces, your enemy will soon learn to fear their unbridled ferocity.

In the Galactic Civil War, the Empire must rely upon more than just its armies to achieve victory. Exceptional leadership is key if the Rebel Alliance is ever to be crushed. This expansion introduces the Inspiring Leadership class, which allows your figures to benefit from your superior battlefield tactics. For instance, you may use Strategic Planning to ready an exhausted Deployment card and grant additional movement to figures across the battlefield, allowing you to take up a superior position. Alternatively, you may use Press On to heal damage from a regular Imperial group, keeping the heroes from destroying them as easily as they might hope. With this new class at your disposal, you’ll have the tactical tools to outmaneuver the Rebels in any campaign.

On the Burning Sands
The presence of Imperial forces of Tatooine bodes ill for the Rebellion. The outcome of this struggle may well have consequences that reach far beyond the heat and dust of Tatooine. With Twin Shadows, your options for exploring the Star Wars galaxy are nearly limitless. You can fight alongside Han Solo with the heroes of the Rebel Alliance, skulk in the shadows with Boba Fett and the Tusken Raiders, or lead the troopers of the Galactic Empire into battle. Whether you engage in a cinematic narrative with the campaign game, or skirmish against a friend in a Mos Eisley cantina, you’ll find brand new adventures in Twin Shadows.

• An expansion for Imperial Assault, adding new materials to both the campaign and skirmish games
• A mini-campaign challenges players to investigate the Imperial presence on Tatooine
• New skirmish missions challenge you to make contact with informants or recover vital components in the midst of a firefight
• Introduces two new Rebel heroes, along with Heavy Stormtroopers and Tusken Raiders
• Twin Shadows can be further supplemented by three new Ally and Villain Packs that add new figures, cards, and missions

Star Wars Imperial Assault: Tyrants of Lothal Expansion
Star Wars Imperial Assault: Tyrants of Lothal Expansion

The struggle against the Empire is just beginning. Throughout the galaxy, resistance groups have begun to join together into a Rebel Alliance. The Outer Rim planet of Lothal is under the watchful eyes of Grand Admiral Thrawn, who monitors the planet for Rebel activity, looking to crush it beneath the Empire's heel. The Lothal Resistance has arisen to fight back against this tyrannical oppression, and now it's your turn to answer the call!

Tyrants of Lothal introduces new heroes, enemies, allies, map tiles and a six-part mini-campaign for Imperial Assault, the strategy game of epic missions and thrilling combat. These components bring the planet of Lothal to life and give you the oppurtunity to join the burgeoning Rebel Alliance. Whether it's in a campaign or skirmish game, the fate of the Rebellion rests on your shoulders... but you're not alone. Join the crew of the Ghost from Star Wars Rebels in your epic fight against Grand Admiral Thrawn, your dealings with the shifty pirate Hondo Ohnaka, and your mission to take down the tyrants of Lothal!

A Time For Heroes
Inspired by a transmission from young Rebel Ezra Bridger, heroes on the planet of Lothal have decided to stand up against the Empire and spark their own rebellion. But will they have what it takes to stand up to the might of Grand Admiral Thrawn?

Tyrants of Lothal gives you the opportunity to play as two new heroes from the Star Wars galaxy, including Tress Hacnua, a Cybernetic Brawler who brings a unique style to the combat of Imperial Assault. Tress begins the game with a fairly average speed of four, but that can be buffed by testing strength at the start of her activation and moving a number of spaces equal to the surges you roll. These Leg Hydraulics give Tress upgraded mobility, but her unique combat prowess really shines through her Fyrnock Style combat. Whenever you resolve an attack with a melee weapon, you gain a style token!

Tress’s starting weapon, the Reinforced Cyberarm, is the perfect way to start spending these style tokens. Whenever you attack with a melee weapon, the Reinforced Cyberarm lets you spend any number of your style tokens to increase your damage for each token spent. When playing as Tress, you can always augment your melee attacks with style tokens, or save up two of them for a massive attack on a difficult foe.

Tress’s other upgrades also revolve around her style tokens. If you manage to save up four XP during a campaign, you can purchase Fluidity to give Tress even more options—you can exhaust Fluidity and spend two style tokens to perform a move, rest, or interact without spending an action. Tress can become extremely efficient during your turn, taking down enemies and making her way to mission objectives in half the time that it would take to do so normally.

By spending two style tokens, Tress adds two damage to her melee attack with the Reinforced Cyberarm! After the attack resolves, she will gain one token back thanks to her Frynock Style ability.

Tress will need all the help she can get with the enemies found in Tyrants of Lothal. Far more deadly than an Imperial Stormtrooper, Death Troopers are an elite group of soldiers specialized in guarding high-ranking Imperial officers. Now, they enter Imperial Assault as a well-trained force for the Imperial player. Not only do the Death Troopers roll a red and yellow attack die with deadly accuracy, but they can organize to allow the Imperial player to activate multiple Death Troopers in a single turn. Their coordination starts during setup when you can choose any number of Death Trooper deployment cards as one open group. Furthermore, after a Death Trooper activates, you can activate another Death Trooper or a Leader group that costs six or less, allowing you to use multiple groups before the Rebel players can activate. Death Troopers work best by fighting in unison, and with surges giving them extra accuracy and Pierce 1, they are sure to hit their target with amazing speed and efficiency.

If you're fielding the elite version of a Death Trooper as part of your open group, you'll also gain the advantages of the Squad Captain ability, granting an adjacent Trooper or Leader character a power token of your choice to give Imperial forces an edge in combat. These power tokens were first introduced in Heart of the Empire, and they make their return here to boost your allies on the battlefield.

A New Fight
Tyrants of Lothal presents several new ways to play the Imperial Assault campaign game, with six missions that can either be incorporated into any full campaign or played in sequence as the Tyrants of Lothal mini-campaign. Join the crew of the Ghost on a galaxy-spanning adventure, and team up with Ezra Bridger, Sabine Wren, and more familiar faces to outwit the Empire and bring freedom to the galaxy. But you have to start somewhere, and thanks to the unlikely assistance of the pirate Hondo Ohnaka, your burgeoning heroes have learned the location of an Imperial arms shipment, ripe for extraction. It is now or never—time to step out of the shadows and join the Rebel Alliance!

Furthermore, Tyrants of Lothal includes two new skirmish missions for use on the Lothal Wastes map built from new tiles featured in the box. Skirmish versions of the new heroes promise to shake up up the format, and new command cards give you even more customization options. Tress Hacnua is an offensive powerhouse in campaigns, and she brings this same vigor for combat to skirmishes. While she loses her style tokens she gains a massive advantage with her Krayt Dragon Fury, which allows her to gain massive bonuses based on the number of surges rolled during an attack. This includes a powerful Cleave ability which can be further augmented with the Spinning Kick command card! Add some style to your Imperial Assault skirmishes with Tress Hacnua and the rest of the Tyrants of Lothal figures!

Tyrants of Lothal
The Rebel Alliance is growing. With a call to arms from Ezra Bridger, heroes across Lothal are standing up and fighting for freedom. Team up with the crew of the Ghost in any campaign with the missions found in Tyrants of Lothal, or go on a galactic adventure with a six-mission mini-campaign! And be sure to supplement the expansion with the four figure packs launching alongside it—you can find more information here.

Become a Rebel with Tyrants of Lothal, a new small box expansion for Imperial Assault.
